We ended up choosing "Pickle" for his breeding and performance background and we are glad we did. </div> <bR> <div> Our mare "Helter Kings Stardancer" was a successful show horse with old breeding, so in 2006 she gave birth to her first foal, a beautiful palomino colt that has since been sold to a show home. Wayne has tuned up my gelding (Stormy), who had some boy habits, which Wayne removed and is now a dream to ride and handle on the ground. Stormy has better work ethics and has become more than competitive in all events he competes in. I also got Wayne to start a filly that we breed and she has been a dream from the moment that she came back and at no stage looks like putting a foot wrong. She is the first horse that Wayne has started for us and she won't be the last. </div> <bR> <div> My sister in-law has just sent Stormy's half brother to get started, which we also breed.</div> <div> During this time, my son Brandon, sent his horse who was deaf and only 3, to be tuned so that a he (a youth) could ride with confidence. Wayne was able to achieve this and give Brandon more than enough confidence and skill that he is now riding a senior horse and growing with each show.</div> <bR> <div> Since getting the horses back from Wayne and also listening to his advise during tuition's, I myself gained greater confidence in what I am doing and how best to ride my horse.</div> <div> When our horses have arrived back they are better conditioned and extremely well maintained. Wayne insists on the best outside care to be used when horses are being trained at his complex from shoeing, to dentists, to vets and handlers they all are working under the standards and direction of Wayne himself. He takes a very direct hands-on approach to all aspects of his training.</div> <bR> <div> I find Wayne is not only able to get your horse to Pleasure but is also able to get you to ride them the same as if the trainer was. During my time in the Sport I have found people spend endless amounts of money on getting their horses trained but when they have to ride them they can't seem to get the same result. With Wayne this is not the case and it is money more than well spent. He spends the time on both the horse and the rider to ensure that the right bond will be achieved. Wayne takes pride in the fact the animal enjoys what the rider is doing and they bond successfully.</div> <bR> <div> During all my dealing with both Wayne and Lyndall, I have found them to be professional, approachable and very honest in their assessment of our horses. This gives me great peace of mind and respect for a very well organised operation. At all times, I have found their facilities well maintained and horses treated in the highest form possible. They are able to make you feel apart of your horses training and encourage you to ask questions even when you have taken your horse home. </div> <bR> <div> Over the past 3 years I have recommended countless people to Wayne and have no hesitations in endorsing this true Horseman who knows his craft.</div> <bR> <div> It has been a pleasure to be associated with such people and am glad that I made the decision to have Wayne train and Lyndall look after our horses.
